Aryan Khan case: No evidence of extortion

In the month of October, Bombay High Court granted bail to Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan, who was arrested in connection with a drug bust case onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. The co-accused in the case, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamechawere also granted bail by a single-judge bench of Justice N W Sambre. Now there is breaking news in the Aryan Khan case, the Mumbai Police has not found evidence of extortion in connection with the drugs case in which Aryan Khan was arrested. The sources say that the Investigation of alleged extortion matter in connection with drugs on cruise case halted until the next order. Mumbai Police had formed a special team to investigate and had questioned around 20 people.

It is known that Narcotics Control Bureau’s independent witness Prabhakar Sail alleged he had overheard a phone conversation about a demand of Rs 25 Cr from Aryan’ father Shah Rukh Khan. The drugs case has been transferred to NCB SIT and Aryan Khan has been relieved from marking his regular attendance in NCB Mumbai office every Friday in connection with the drug case.
