Review: Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer Shyam Singha Roy, which is one of the much awaited movie of Tollywood, has finally hit the theaters today.
Story: Vasu(Nani) is an aspiring filmmaker. He watches Keerthi (Krithi Shetty) while he is auditioning girls for a short film. Vasu asks her to act in his short film and she denies it. But later she says yes. The movie becomes a huge hit and he gets an offer to remake the same movie in Bollywood. But later the police arrest Vasu on copyright infringement grounds. Vasu has been making films with stories that were provided by Shyam Singha Roy in the 1970’s.

Performance: Once again Nani has given a riveting performance in Shyam Singh Roy. His performance and body languages are top-notch. He is the heart and soul of this film. Krithi Shetty does a good job in the role of Krithi. The performance and dance of Sai Pallavi are highlighted. Sai Pallavi’ portrayal of a Devadasi is neat. Krithi Shetty is a glamour doll is ok. Madonna Sebastian as a lawyer gets a brief role. Rest of the cast of Shyam Singha Roy are ok.
Technical: The director Rahul Sankrityan has mixed the elements properly in the film to create interest. The music composer Mickey J Mayer has done a fantastic job. The songs are good on the screens and the background music is good. Cinematography in eye candy. The editing is ok. Production values are excellent. The production design is good.
Analysis: Shyam Singha Roy is a well packaged action drama with a good plot. The first half is breezy and the second half has few unnecessary scenes.
