South actor Sathyaraj, who is famous for playing Kattappa in SS Rajamouli’ Baahubali duology has tested positive for COVID-19. He was rushed to a hospital in Chennai yesterday night.
Though he was self isolating at his home but when his condition deteriorated, he was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Chennai.
Yesterday Trisha Krishnan also confirmed that she has tested positive for Coronavirus. Besides Trisha Krishnan, several other actors have also tested positive for coronavirus. Mimi Chakraborty, Sumona Chakravarti, John Abraham, Swara Bhasker, Mahesh Babu, Ekta Kapoor, Nakuul Mehta, Nora Fatehi, Arjun Bijlani, Prem Chopra and Dhrashti Dhami are currently in quarantine.
On the professional front, Sathyaraj has numbers of projects likes Etharkkum Thunindhavan, Party, Pakka Commercial, and Khaki. In his filmy career he has acted more than 500 films in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi langauges.
His dream was to become an actor, but his mother was against it. In 1976, in spite of his mother’s opposition, Sathyaraj left Coimbatore to enter the Tamil film industry based in Kodambakkam, Chennai
