The web Awards, the Filmfare OTT Awards 2021 were held in Mumbai yesterday evening and it was one glamorous affair. All the leading names of the OTT platform came under one roof on this occasion. Samantha’ maiden OTT project – the web series The Family Man 2 ,created by Raj and DK, turned out to be a smashing success and Samantha received appreciation for her performance. Now according to the latest report, Samantha has won the Filmfare OTT award for the best actress for the web show The Family Man 2, where she portrayed the role of LTTE suicide bomber Raji.
In the past, south beauty Samantha has won Best Debut Female award for Ye Maya Chesave and as Best Actress for the movies Eega, Neethane En Vasantham and A Aa.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu who is waiting for the release of Shaakunatalam, recently made an official announcement regarding her female centric movie Yashoda.
