Samantha announces Pan Indian film Yashoda

After announcing the divorce with Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is back to work. Today on 6th December, she made an official announcement regarding her pan-India film  which is titled Yashoda.  The upcoming film will be helmed by duo Hari and Hareesh and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, who backed Telugu films such as Aditya 369 and Sammohanam. The film’s shooting commenced in Pune today. Soon the official announcement regarding the remaining cast and crew will be made.


In Yashoda, Samantha  will be seen in an author-backed role and  it will target a pan-Indian release in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Few days ago, Samantha announced her  first international film, Arrangements of Love, to be helmed  by BAFTA winning filmmaker Philip John of Downtown Abbey fame.

On the other side, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen next in Gunasekhar’ magnum opus Shaakuntalam and Vignesh Shivan’ directorial venture Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
