South beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to join Varun Dhawan in Russo Brothers and Raj and DK’s Citadel. The web series is expected to go on the floors from next year.
The actress who was seen playing the negative role in the web drama The Family Man 2, Ruth will be reuniting with the series’ directors Raj and DK for an action packed project. The series Citadel is being headlined by Priyanka Chopra, with its regional versions being developed in India as well as Italy.
The sources close to the makers of the web series revealed that they were looking out for a fresh pairing, and Varun and Sam were deemed perfect for the roles. The team is also planning to make this web series on a lavish budget, with the international stunt doubles being roped into the series’ expansive scenes.
It is also being heard that both Majili girl and Varun will be playing stylish spies in the Raj and DK directorial.
