Reason behind Dhanush & Aishwaryaa divorce

Dhanush and his wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, the daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, announced their separation on 17th January by releasing a statement. They decided to part ways after 18 years of marriage. They are parents to two boys, Yatra and Linga.

A friend who is very close to Dhanush’ family revealed the reason behind the divorce and said, “Dhanush is a workaholic and because of his work commitments, he travels between cities and outdoor film shoots –  that have taken a toll on his family life. Whenever  Dhanush had tension with wife, or anything that has been a cause of friction between the two, he has gone and signed a new film. The actor was using his work to get away from his failing relationship.  Dhanush wanted to wrap up the promotions of Atrangi Re before he made the official announcement.”

The actor was last seen playing one of the lead role in the Hindi movie Atrani Re in which he shared the screen space with Sara Alia Khan
