RRR, helmed by SS Rajamouli, initially is going to be released on numerous screens worldwide on 7th January 2022 and its now postponed. Jr NTR and Ram Charan are playing the role of Telugu historical heroes Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju in this film. The movie also has British actor and model Olivia Morris and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The team has been touring Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Kochi as a part of the promotional activities. The sources say that the lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR are getting Rs 45 crore each as remunerations. Alia Bhatt is being paid Rs 9 Cr whereas Ajay Devgn is getting Rs 25 Cr.
The film is estimated to have been made on a staggering budget of Rs 400 crores and is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment. PEN Studios has bagged the theatrical distribution rights of Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR across North India.
