On several occasions, the director SS Rajamouli has confirmed that his film RRR is on track for its 7th January 2022. Days after the producers issued a clarification about the film, SS Rajamouli confirmed that there will be “No postponement” of the film starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. But now once again the reports are coming that RRR has been postponed due to the rise of Covid-19 cases.
Recently Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal declared a yellow alert in the state which led to shut down of schools, colleges, cinemas and gyms. The Mumbai police have also put a ban on visiting beaches, open grounds, similar public places. Now the makers of RRR have no option but to postpone. A formal announcement will be made regarding the postponement of RRR later today.
