The stakes are too high for Icon star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer action drama Pushpa: The Rise, which has hit the theaters today. The movie had its premiere in USA on 16th December. The action drama marks the reunion of director Sukumar, actor Allu Arjun and music composer Devi Sri Prasad, a hit combo in Telugu cinema, after more than ten years. Now according to the latest report, Pushpa premieres USA gross crossed $411k.
The biggest premieres gross for 2021 was Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, Nayanthara and national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh starrer rural based drama Annaatthe which grosses $410K.
On the other side, the performance of the film’s Hindi version in the northern pockets depends on the kind of reviews it will generate in the coming days. The movie is expected to set the box office on fire in the Telugu states. The traders are thinking that the movie may gross nearly Rs 35 crore on its opening day.
