PIL against RRR in High court

A public interest litigation – PIL has been lodged against SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR, which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya, in Telangana High Court. The movie stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Olivia Morris, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and others. It was slated to hit the   theatres on 7th January but the makers postponed the release. The PIL is filed by a lady named Alluri Soumya of West Godavari.
She requested Telangana High Court to not issue the censor certificate to this Pan India film and she also demanded to stall the release of Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR.

She alleged that Rajamouli twisted the history in his directorial venture which is related to freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. It is known that Jr NTR is essaying Komaram Bheem whereas Ram Charan is playing the role of Alluri Seetharama Raju.

The Justices Ujjal Bhayan and Venkateswara Reddy said that as it’s a PIL, it  will be accepted and hearing would take place.
