Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’ sister and Sudheer Babu’ wife Priyadarshini has filed a police complaint against socialite turned Tollywood producer T Shilpa Chowdary. According to the latest report, she was duped of Rs 2.9 cr under the pretext of investment in real estate. Meanwhile, police have identified several bank accounts operated by Shilpa Chowdary and her hubby Srinivas Prasad.
Three complaints were filed against Shilpa Chowdary at Narsing police station and the police moved a petition in the local court seeking Shilpa Chowdary and her hubby into the custody. Till now, 6 victims have been identified and complaints have been received at various police stations across the city against Shilpa Chowdary.
Shilpa Chowdary and Srinivas Prasad were arrested by Narsingi police on Saturday in connection with a multicrore investment fraud, after a cheating complaint was lodged by the victim Divya Reddy, who was influenced to invest Rs 2.5 Cr in real estate business. The couple Shilpa and Srinivas are currently in judicial remand.
