Rayalaseema region and Nellore district witnessed floods of massive scale this year. Andhra Pradesh State witnessed huge floods in 2009 when over 300 villages in cities including Vijayawada and Kurnool bore the brunt. The recent depression in the Bay of Bengal caused massive flooding in some areas of Andhra Pradesh, especially in Chittoor and Kadapa districts. The several districts of Andhra Pradesh have been massively affected due to heavy rainfall. Tirumala and Tirupati city are hit by floods of unprecedented scale. Now according to the latest update, Young Tiger Jr NTR has shown his generous side by contributing Rs 15 Lakhs for AP flood relief.
Jr NTR wrote on his Twitter: Moved by the plight of people affected by the recent floods in Andhra Pradesh, I am contributing 25 lakhs as a small step to aid in their recovery.
Recently Geetha Arts also donated Rs 10 lakhs to AP CM Relief Fund to help with the relief measures in flood affected areas of Tirupati rains.
