Mrunal Thakur who is playing the female lead in Shahid Kapoor starrer upcoming sport based movie Jersey, has been tested positive for COVID-19. The Jersey actress herself confirmed the same and revealed that she was isolating after testing positive for COVID 19. Mrunal also revealed that she has mild symptoms.
According to her, she is following all instructions of the doctor and health authorities. The Omicron cases in India are growing like the wild fire and various restrictions are also being carried out in parts of the country. Several movies are also getting postponed.
She had been busy promoting Jersey prior to Christmas. However, now several state governments imposed curbs which included shutting down theatres in a few places. Due to this, Jersey also was postponed for a later date. On the work front, Mrunal Thakur will also be seen in Aditya Roy Kapur-starrer Thadam remake. Few days ago, Nora Fatehi also revealed that she tested positive for Coronavirus.
