Boney Kapoor, a star producer and father of stars in their own right, Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, has opened up about the recent reports doing the rounds in the media regarding Janhvi Kapoor.
It is reported that Janhvi Kapoor has rejected the upcoming Vijay Deverakonda film (under Puri Jagannadh’s direction). And in the past had done the same when offers came to act opposite Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan. There were also reports that she was not interested in doing South Indian movies. Regarding these Boney Kapoor has to choose to verify.
Boney Kapoor, reacting to the rumours, said, “We (the Kapoor family) love South Indian movies. Sridevi has done so many films here and has a great relationship with Krishna Garu and Chiranjeevi Garu, and others stars. We and Mahesh Babu share a great respect towards each other. Janhvi is open to doing South Indian films provided the right script falls in place. We are looking for that opportunity to arise, but so far that has not materialised. All the rumours about her (Janhvi) rejecting movies of top stars and not wanting to work in the South are baseless”.
Very recently, Boney Kapoor has produced the blockbuster Nerkonda Paarvai in Tamil with Ajith Kumar. It is running successfully across Tamil Nadu. He is all set to make another one with Ajith under the same director H Vinoth which will go onto sets soon.
