Today morning Hamsa Nandini revealed shocking news by sharing a post on Twitter and Instagram. According to Hamsa Nandini, she is currently battling breast cancer. The Telugu actress revealed that she felt a tiny lump in her breast, four months ago. After a meet up with a Surgical Oncologist, she came to know that she was diagnosed with a Grade III Invasive Carcinoma – Breast Cancer. She is currently undergoing Chemotherapy.
Hamsa Nandini added, “I was told that throughout my life, there was a 70% chance of me redeveloping another breast cancer and a 45% chance of developing ovarian cancer. That meant my fight did not end with lumpectomy, chemotherapy and the radiation. I would have to go through multiple prophylactic surgeries over the next few years.”
On the work front, Hamsa Nandini was last seen in action drama Pantham starring Gopichand and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada, which was helmed by K Chakravarthy Reddy. And it was released in 2018.
