The film and TV serial producer Ekta Kapoor announced that she has been diagnosed with Covid-19. She herself shared the news on Instagram, “Despite taking all precautions, I have tested Covid positive. I am fine and request everyone who has come in contact with me to please test themselves.” On the other side, actor John Abraham said that he and his wife, Priya Runchal also tested positive for the coronavirus.
On the work front, Ekta Kapoor has a number of projects in the pipeline and these are Do Baaraa and Ek Villain Returns. She also has Freddy, starring actor Kartik Aaryan, in the pipeline. Ekta has also collaborated with Kareena Kapoor Khan on the actor’s debut production. She is also bankrolling Goodbye, KTina, Shehzada, Shootout at Byculla, Dobaara and LSD 2.
Last year she was in the news headlines when she received the prestigious Padma Shri from President Ram Nath Kovind at a ceremony at he Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi.
