Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Icon star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise would be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on the 7th of this month. The makers had been denying the ‘OTT release’ rumours but several reliable reports claimed that the film would certainly be arriving on Amazon Prime Video on the 7th of this month. Today Amazon Prime Video, which owned the digital rights of Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, took to social media and announced that the movie will be available to stream on its platform from 7th January.
The OTT platform also confirmed that the Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada versions of Sukumar’ magnum opus will be available to stream. There is no update about the release of the Hindi version yet.
It is also being heard that few distributors had some losses in Andhra Pradesh territory and producers will refund the losses.
