Amid a raging row between Andhra Pradesh government and Tollywood over movie ticket prices, Chiranjeevi called on CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Amaravati a few days ago. On the invitation of Jagan Reddy, Chiranjeevi had a meeting with him over lunch at the latter’s official residence at Tadepalli. Ever since the meeting, it has been rumoured that the YSRCP had offered a Rajya Sabha seat to Chiranjeevi.
Megastar Chiranjeevi came forward to refute the rumour. He took to his Twitter, and revealed that he is completely out of politics and he has no intention of coming back. Chiranjeevi refuted the rumour by saying that there is no truth in the ongoing campaign that he would get a Rajya Sabha ticket.
Acharya actor also mentioned that he met Jagan Reddy only to discuss the problems of the industry, but some media outlets have sidelined the main issue and they are spreading the false news about him.
