Telugu film Industry is mourning the death of one of the most powerful writers of recent decades in the form of Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. The renowned Telugu lyricist died yesterday on 30th November due to cancer-related complications. Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry’ mortal remains is kept for public viewing at his residence so fans and celebs can pay their last respects. Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati paid last respects to Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. Nandmauri Balakrishna, who was very close to Sastry, also offered condolences to the family.
Icon star Allu Arjun presented a garland and offered condolences to Sirivennela’ wife and children who broke down.
Venkatesh Daggubati offered his condolences to lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry’s family and wrote: “Disheartened to hear that Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry garu is no more. Deepest condolences to his loved ones.
Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry wrote over 2000 songs in his career in the film industry. He won several Filmfare Awards and Nandi Awards for his work in the south movies.
