Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Ramya Krishna and Krithi Shetty starrer Bangarraju has hit the theaters today on 14th December.
Story: The movie Bangarraju starts from where Soggade Chinni Nayana ended. The original Bangarraju (Nagarjuna) along with his wife (Ramya Krishna) leading a joyful life in heaven. Their grandson Chinna Bangarraju (Naga Chaitanya) is the playboy of Sivapuram village. But, he has a problem with the local Sarpanch Naga Lakshmi (Krithi Shetty). Meanwhile, some people are also planning to steal Sivapuram Temple’s wealth. Why does Bangarraju come back to earth, and how he helps Chinna Bangarraju, form rest of the story.

Performance: Nagarjuna is in his elements right from the first frame till the end. It is one more memorable character from the star. Ramya Krishna is superb in her role and looks gorgeous even at this age. Credit should go to the director Kalyan Krishna for etching out all the roles in a beautiful way. Naga Chaitanya looks cute in all the songs and dance routine. He delivers his best performance and his chemistry with Krithi Shetty is impressive. Faria Abdullah, who does a special song is ok. Rao Ramesh is fine in his supporting role. Vennela Kishore evokes a few laughs and rest of the cast are ok.
Technical: The music is a great plus for the film. The picturization elevates them further. Background score is neat and in great sync with the proceedings. The editing is fine. Dialogues are superb and it dipped in native slang. It feels refreshing hearing them. The backdrop of village adds great freshness to the film Bangarraju with dialogues being icing on the cake. All the scenes and performances from cast and crew are handled with expertise. The plot of the film is quite predictable.
Analysis: Whenever Nagarjuna has done entertaining roles, films have always clicked. Bangarraju is a watchable film during this festival weekend.
