Performance: There is no doubt in saying that no one other than Nandamuri Balakrishna would have suited Akhanda role as the star hero did. Right from his screen presence as Aghora, everything looks top notch. His dialogue delivery is in top form and will surely bring goosebumps to fans all over. Pragya Jaiswal gives her career best performance. She looks gorgeous and emotes supremely well throughout the film. Srikanth in the negative role, gets limited screen presence. Kalakeya Prabhakar as a ruthless cop is ok. Poorna in supporting role is fine. Jagapathi Babu and Subbaraju perform accordingly.
Technical: Akhanda has some top class technical values . The Cinematography work and grand setting are terrific and completely in the line with what Boyapati Srinu promised in its trailers. Once again Boaypati Srinu and Balakrishna proved that they are the perfect combination. The background score by Thaman is impressive. BGM for all the elevation episodes is amazing. All the songs are choreographed beautifully. Production value is grand.
Analysis: To sum it all, Akhanda has its pluses in the form of technical prowess and performances.
