Nandmuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal starrer Akhanda hit the screens on Thursday and the movie has already grossed more than $800K at the USA box office. The film which is helmed by Boyapati Srinu, has been receiving tremendous response in the Telugu state and overseas as well. The box office collections of the film are a proof that Akhanda is a blockbuster in the USA. It is expected that soon Balayya starrer will cross the one million mark.
The action drama Akhanda, which is bankrolled by Dwaraka Creations, also has Poorna, Srikanth Meka and Jagapathi Babu in the crucial roles. The movie marks the third collaboration of Balakrishna and Boyapati. Domestically, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh areas show record collections for Akhanda box office. The collections are also growing stronger.
Balakrishna’ performance, way of dialogue delivery, action scenes and SS Thaman’s thumping music are seen as contributing to the success of the movie.
