Yesterday the makers of Acharya confirmed that the release of Chiranjeevi starrer has been postponed owing to the rise in coronavirus cases across the country. Today morning the makers of Acharya announced the new release date and confirmed that it will be released on 1st April. It is known that Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata was also slated to hit the theatres on 1st April on the occasion of Ugadi but according to the latest report, the release has been postponed. And Chiranjeevi occupied Mahesh Babu’ slot.
Acharya is helmed by Koratala Siva and is produced by Chiranjeevi’s actor-son Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under their banner Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment. Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde are playing the female lead roles. The movie is presented by Surekha Konidela.
Both Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi are playing the role of naxalites in Koratala Siva’ magnum opus.
