‘A Journey To Kashi’ is produced by Varanasi Creations. Famous actor Chaithanya Rao is joined by Alexander Salnikov, Priya Paluvay, Katalyn Gowda, Patas Akshara and others in this Muni Krisna directorial. Produced by D Balaji, KP Lokanatha and Varanasi Sridhar, the film is presented by KP Loknath.
The film is going to be released in theatres on January 6. Its unit members today hosted a pre-release event. Senior director Sekhar Suri attended the event as a guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Sekhar Suri said that the title of the film is so good. “I have known Editor Tirupathi Reddy for a long time. I have had a special relationship with Kashi, where I lived for 60 days in 2014 during a film shoot. I have watched the trailer of ‘A Journey To Kashi’. I am impressed with the director’s intent and creativity. It’s important in today’s times to work for Sanatana Dharma. I liked the song ‘Suddhosi Buddhosi’. I appreciate the producers for venturing to bring out a meaningful story. And it’s important for the audience to encourage films like this one. I urge everyone to support this movie when it is released in theatres on January 6,” he added.
‘Suddhosi Buddhosi’ singer Gomati Iyer said, “I thank music director Phani Kalyan garu on this occasion for the opportunity to sing the song. I hope the song becomes a hit.”
Music director Phani Kalyan said, “I have composed a Telugu song, an English song and a Sanskrit song. It feels great to have done a movie like this. You will like Chaithanya Rao and the performances of everyone else.”
Heroine Katalyn Gowda said, “I would call this film a feel-good one. It’s a family film that shows the director’s talent. Please watch our movie on January 6.”
