Story: Arjuna (Sree Vishnu) and his friends live in a village. They are happy in their life and do nothing. Later Arjuna and his friends decide to open a factory but soon the money lures them to smuggling Ganja from Araku. Their plan lands them in trouble with the police. How they come out of all the mess form the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
Sree Vishnu
Few scenes
Minus points:
Direction
Screenplay
Weak Story
Editing
Performance:
Sree Vishnu in the role of Arjuna gives outstanding performance. Sivaji Raja in the role of hero’ father is fine. VK Naresh as village Karanam fit in the role. Amritha Aiyer is not appealing. Subbaraju could have been better. The rest of the cast of the film perform accordingly.
Technical: There is no freshness in the storyline. Coming to the work of director, he tried to attempt the routine story with the village youth based comedy but he failed to do so. Arjun’ friend repaying the family debt is boring. Godari valle sandamama song is interesting. The BGM and cinematography work are ok. The production values are not up to the mark. Jr NTR fans angle, satires on village jobs, dig on the alcohol are interesting.
Analysis: The emotional action drama Arjuna Phalguna lacks the required impact to elevate the proceedings. One of the biggest problems of the film is the lack of clarity with the tone. The poor screenplay, simple story and ordinary narration make the movie boring.
